Anmerkung: Richard Wagners Kapellmeisterzeit in Riga währte von 1837 bis 1839. Kurz nach der Festanstellung ab April 1837 in Königsberg mußte er vor seinen Gläubigern fliehen und bekam ab Juni eine Stelle in Riga. Auch hier mußte er flüchten und wählte den mehrwöchigen Seeweg nach London, der ihn zum "Fliegenden Holländer" inspirierte.
